Golf Club El Bosque- Golf and city

El Bosque Golf Club (1975) was designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr, the legendary designer of some of the world’s finest golf courses. Here in Spain, his designs include, amongst others, the RC Valderrama and the Real Club de Golf de Sotogrande.

It is situated just 20 km from the city of Valencia, allowing visitors to combine a round of golf with a trip to the beach in the same morning. Throughout its history, it has hosted events on the European Tour (the El Bosque Open and the Mediterránea Open) and, at amateur level, has hosted highly prestigious international championships, such as the Queen’s Cup in 2004, in which Beatriz Recari was crowned champion.
