Villamartín Golf – A EUROPEAN TOUR GEM
Since 1972 Villamartin has been a leader in the golf courses of Valencia. Vegetation with over 40 years of history, beautiful views of the Mediterranean and generous greens that hosted in 1997 a test for the European Tour.
Severiano Ballesteros, Jose Maria Olazabal, Ian Woosnan, Sam Torrance and many other international figures have played golf and graced this great golf course. Villamartin Golf design is the work of John Puttnam, who already performed work at La Manga Club in the late 60s.
The greens are internationally renowned at Villamartin with well-known holes such as the 17th hole, a par three that requires crossing a leafy, wooded ravine to reach a huge and generous two-tier Green. Golf Villamartin has a large community of players from all over Europe who chose this beautiful golf course as a place to live, with the course an integral part of their lifestyle.
Villamartin is without doubt one of the best golf courses in Valencia, as well as one of the senior golf community.
