SE RECONOCE AS\u00cd LA TRAYECTORIA DE LA ASOCIACI\u00d3N DE CAMPOS DE GOLF PIONERA Y M\u00c1S ANTIGUA DE ESPA\u00d1A Y SU LABOR DE PROMOCI\u00d3N COMO DESTINO INTERNACIONAL DE GOLF<\/strong><\/p>\n

La Asociaci\u00f3n de Campos de Golf de la Costa Blanca y Comunitat Valenciana (ACGCBCV) ha recibido este viernes el \u201cpremio al Fomento de la Econom\u00eda Local\u00bb, otorgado por UEPAL, la Uni\u00f3n Empresarial de la Provincia de Alicante, durante la \u201c8\u00aa edici\u00f3n de los premios UEPAL\u201d que se celebr\u00f3 en Elda (Alicante), en reconocimiento a su trayectoria y, especialmente, a la labor de promoci\u00f3n tur\u00edstica que desarrolla para posicionar el golf como uno de los principales atractivos tur\u00edsticos del destino.<\/p>\n

\nEl premio supone un reconocimiento a los casi 35 a\u00f1os de trayectoria de la ACGCBCV y al conjunto de empresas y profesionales que integran el sector, as\u00ed como a su contribuci\u00f3n a la promoci\u00f3n exterior del destino y a la generaci\u00f3n de riqueza y empleo en el territorio. La ceremonia estuvo presidida por el presidente de UEPAL, C\u00e9sar Quintanilla, y numerosas autoridades como la Consellera de Turismo, Marian Cano, el presidente de la Diputaci\u00f3n de Alicante, Toni P\u00e9rez o el Conseller de Econom\u00eda de la Generalitat, Jos\u00e9 Antonio Rovira, que entreg\u00f3 en premio a la ACGCBCV.
\nPor parte de la ACGCBCV recogieron el premio su presidente, Salvador Lucas, y su secretario general, \u00c1ngel Llopes, que agradecieron a UEPAL el reconocimiento, destacando que \u201csupone un est\u00edmulo para continuar trabajando en la promoci\u00f3n del golf y en la generaci\u00f3n de oportunidades para nuestro territorio\u00bb, en palabras de Lucas y aprovecharon para rendir un homenaje a los fundadores de la Asociaci\u00f3n, Juan Miguel Buend\u00eda y Juan de la Cuadra, representado por su hija Eva de la Cuadra, que \u201cfueron los que tuvieron el m\u00e9rito al tener la visi\u00f3n de fundar esta asociaci\u00f3n hace 35 a\u00f1os cuando no hab\u00eda ninguna en Espa\u00f1a\u201d, en palabras de Llopes.<\/p>\n

\nFundada en 1992, la ACGCBCV es pionera en el sector y la m\u00e1s antigua de Espa\u00f1a, con origen en la Costa Blanca y reuniendo en un principio a unos pocos campos de golf de la provincia de Alicante se ha convertido, m\u00e1s de tres d\u00e9cadas despu\u00e9s, en una organizaci\u00f3n con \u00e1mbito de actuaci\u00f3n en toda la Comunitat Valenciana y con 140 empresas afiliadas; 27 campos de golf, 63 hoteles y empresas de alojamiento, 17 restaurantes y numerosas empresas de servicios complementarios vinculados al turismo, lo que refleja la amplitud y diversidad de un sector que genera actividad y riqueza en m\u00faltiples \u00e1mbitos de la econom\u00eda.
\nEl turismo de golf constituye un importante motor econ\u00f3mico para la regi\u00f3n seg\u00fan los datos del \u00faltimo estudio de impacto econ\u00f3mico realizado por la C\u00e1mara de Comercio, generando 918 millones de euros de impacto econ\u00f3mico anual y m\u00e1s de 10.000 puestos de trabajo.
\nLa ACGCBCV es tambi\u00e9n una referencia a nivel internacional, donde lleva m\u00e1s de 3 d\u00e9cadas promocionando la Costa Blanca y la C. Valenciana en los m\u00e1s importantes mercados internacionales emisores de turistas de golf. El turismo de golf est\u00e1 considerado como estrat\u00e9gico para cualquier destino tur\u00edstico, al atraer a un turista de mayor poder adquisitivo fuera de los meses de verano, contribuyendo as\u00ed a desestacionalizar la oferta.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
